Ignacio Bossi for the first time. After a brief introduction to the subject he announced, \u201cI will teach you a simple formula. If you learn it, I will not give any exams this semester.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">That certainly got my attention.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">He approached the board and wrote: S = P &#8211; E. Then he looked around and asked, \u201cDoes anyone know what this means?\u201d Silence filled the air. \u201cThis is a sales success formula\u201d he continued. \u201cIt applies not only to marketing and sales but to everything, even to getting a promotion.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The sales success formula:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">This formula is straightforward:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">S stands for Satisfaction.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">P is for Perception.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">E represents Expectations.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Satisfaction equals Perception minus Expectations. Your customer will feel satisfied when the value they receive exceeds their expectations. I learned to ask my customers: \u201cWhat does success look like for you in this relationship?
